Initiated by young people, PROJECT-E is a public welfare association promoting vocational training in developing countries. With our work we want to show people that it is not difficult to change things by providing training for less fortunate young people, thus ensuring them a better future.

In contrast to many other relief organizations, our work concentrates on education. In our view, a country can only develop from within, if its innate resources are strengthened. Our object is therefore to further the weakest members of society and improve their prospects for the future through appropriate vocational training. This can be done with the help of a dedicated team of young people in Europe, with support from our numerous donors and sponsors, above all with the encouragement of our patron, Dr. Asfa-Wossen Asserate.

The project operates on an entirely honorary basis and administrative costs are minimal. All the money received, in whatever form, is forwarded directly by us to our partner organization in Ethiopia, which supervises work in progress on location. Naturally, we are present ourselves in Ethiopia as frequently as possible.
